Works great

Comment:
These screwed onto my ProClip attachment just fine, and holds my Garmin GPS very well. Because it's two pieces, it does make it a bit thicker than it needs to be. It could look cleaner if it weren't so thick, but it's not a big deal.

Comment:
The only thing that bothered me about an auto GPS was all the mounting accessories need to use and remove it (to prevent theft) from your car. The ARKON worked out great. The ball connector slides easily off the base of the ARKON and fits into the back of the Garmin cradle. For the base mount I used two deck screws and some foam backing to attach it to the dash of my 1999 Explorer. Now all I do is slide the GPS off and on the small base mount. The base is not very visible from outside the SUV. When not in use, the GPS fits easily into my center console.

Product arrived promptly. The straight bracket was just the right size for easy installation in our car. The ball holder was a perfect fit for the Nuvi bracket and holds the GPS firmly.

perfect fit for Nuvi mounts

Comment:
After repeated problems with the Nuvi suction mounts I tried this item. the ball fits into the socket mount on my Nuvi 350 and the mount plate matches up to standard cell phone mount plates. The ball stud easily slides off of its own mount plate but I just pop the Nuvi off of its mount.
