Let me start out by saying I've used my OEM mount and a vent holder mount. The OEM mount fell off the windshield every 4 minutes. The vent holder mount worked great at first but it seemed to big in the vent area and eventually the mount brackets wouldn't stay in at all. So, after seeing how well my mother's GPS holder worked because of a clamp that holds it to the windshield, I gave this a try. It is so secure to the windshield and will probably never fall off. Maybe if it get's too hot or something but for the price and after trying almost all of the other holders I think this will be the best one. Go out and get one you won't regret it. Comes with a dash mount, too.
