I needed a new suction cup mount for my Nuvi 205. The one it came with broke after about a year. The suction cup where it attached to the spring had a tear in it and wouldn't stay on anymore, so when I'd be driving, the darned thing would pop off almost causing me numerous accidents. Lucky enough for me, I found this mount. I first went on the Garmin website to check it out and see if that was what I was looking for, but they were asking for $30 more than I wanted to pay. Wouldn't you know it, I go to Amazon and I find the exact same product for $30 less than what they wanted for it on Garmin! After reading so many great reviews about this mount, I knew this was the one I wanted. I'm happy with it.
As for those few reviewers that stated that they are not sure why it's not sticking to their windshield: If this monster suction cup will not stick to your windshield, first get yourself a paper towel and some windex (that's the blue stuff in the squirt bottle used to clean glass), clean and dry your inner windshield. Make sure you also clean the suction cup with some rubbing alcohol. Then try sticking it on again. Should stick.

I have a Garmin GPS & I didn't put the little disc thing on my window to hold the mount. So, it never stayed up for long. I looked for a while till I found this AKRON GN115 unit. This thing is worth every cent. I didn't put the disc up with it either, but it is yet to come off the windshield. Good price, excellent job.
